Навряд чи беруться, так і є. Але Анхар ще до полону дуже вже активно піарила свою роботу на сирійську армію, в якості російського журналіста, анітрохи не згадуючи своє українське громадянство - а це також ознака найманства. Почитати її жежешечку - ось і доказ.

2. A mercenary is any person who:

Все ж таки перекладацька діяльність це не
fight in an armed conflict і перекладач, коли він перекладає, це не та особа, що does, in fact, take a direct part in the hostilities.

По пункту (бі) - я не можу впевнено сказати, але ,здається вона хвалилася що стріляла по повстанцях.
а от під пункти сі та ді вона чітко підпадає, бо гроші вона отримувала саме за військов-пропагандистську діяльність і не була громадянкою Сирії.
